Colne Car Storage was established in response to accommodating the growing customer demand we experienced from our other established site on the Essex/Suffolk borders - Apex car transport and storage.

As that business flourished and reached near capacity, we realised there was continually a strong demand from customers in the East Anglia, Essex and London areas who wanted the best possible environment to store their specialist vehicles, at a price point which reflected great value for the quality of our service offering.

To meet our quality and service objectives, we knew from the outset that a new purpose built facility from scratch, provided the only guarantee of being able to meet the correct levels of environmental control, security and safety that we required, in order to deliver the very best car storage offering in the area.

We started with a site with great connections to the local major road networks and conveniently located under an hour from London. Before any building work was undertaken a comprehensive security evaluation was undertaken, with recommendations from this review accommodated into the design and build of the building.

In May 2026 the building opens for business and we look forward to providing our customers with the best value storage solution for their specialist vehicles.
